BSK manufactures a wide range of protective paper laminates to protect high value steel coils and other metals from risk of scratches, corrosion, dirt, dust, water etc during transportation, handling and storage. These laminates are for the manual packing of such metal items.

BSK combines paper with high strength films to prevent corrosion caused by condensation. The film has high tear and abrasion resistance and the paper soaks up any condensation caused by free air from the bore left inside the pack and thus stops it collecting on the metal, which would cause rust.

These laminates are also available with or without VCI (Vapour Corrosion Inhibitor) protection and can be manufactured so that manual separation is easy to give full recyclability.

Using BSK’s range of rust prevention laminates, not only is better protection achieved, but also a more professional product presentation. A company logo can be printed on the film, the film can be made to match a company’s corporate colour, providing effective and instant brand recognition.
