Lois Chilling out! Rabbit sheds at Green Fields Rescue Cookie & Crumble enjoying the summer

BSK foil bubble insulation has been keeping a group of bunnies in Bracknell cool throughout the summer. They are also looking forward to a cosy winter in their "redecorated" homes

Green Fields Rescue is a sanctuary for rabbits and guinea pigs, which is run by husband and wife team Jamie and Lorna Field. They take in many mistreated and abandoned rabbits and guinea pigs and look after them until new homes are found. Green Fields Rescue also offers excellent advice regarding the care of these types of animals and practical guidance on how to avoid your pets ending up at a sanctuary

The reflective insulation was installed earlier in the summer in the bunny sheds and Lorna advised that the insulation made a huge difference of around 8-10 degrees cooler than before it was put in. Lorna also expects her heating costs for these sheds to be reduced during the winter due to the insulation, freeing up precious funds to care for the animals and work on awareness of these furry creatures. The guinea pigs also benefited too with Jamie making a cover for their run from the foil bubble.
