Reinforced Fire Retardant Kraft Laminate

SEEKURE 303 is a waterproof flame retardant kraft paper reinforced with glass fibre and bonded with polyethylene to give a flame retardant laminate conforming to BS 3120: 1959 and DIN 4102 Class B2. This product is used where fire risk is a factor - lining paint spray booths, carpet protection on ships and aircraft during servicing and protection where welding and grinding operations are carried out. It is also suitable as a lightweight vapour check in building construction, used in walls and ceilings to prevent interstitial condensation which can lead to degraded insulation performance and eventually structural damage.

Construction

A laminated structure with-

• Flame retardant kraft paper to give good strength and stiffness and low flame spread characteristics
• Glass fibre yarn reinforcing to give tear resistance
• Laminated with polyethylene to give good secondary barrier, wide range of temperature resistance and good durability
