Lightweight waterproof building paper

Sisalkraft 822 is an economical, lightweight, polyethylene coated, wet strength kraft paper. It is manufactured to conform to BS 1521: Class B2 for temporary uses during construction. Sisalkraft 822 is used as a temporary separation layer, bondbreak and concrete liner and for protection of walls, floors (in lighter traffic areas) and decorative finishes during construction or refurbishment.

Construction

A laminated structure of -

• Wet strength kraft paper to give a non-slip, absorbent surface with good strength properties even when damp.
• Matt black polyethylene to give a waterproof non staining barrier.

Fixing/Sitework

Lay black polyethylene side down. Fix using staples or tape allowing generous overlaps. Tape overlaps when used for floor protection especially where spillage is likely.
